MICROBLADING & COMBO BROWS
IN MARBELLA

MICROBLADING

Microblading has become one of the most popular brow treatments worldwide - and it’s easy to see why.

Microblading is a semi-permanent technique where ultra-fine, hair-like strokes are created manually using a precise handheld tool. These strokes blend seamlessly with your natural brow hairs, giving you fuller, more symmetrical, and beautifully defined brows.

Unlike a “makeup-filled” brow, microblading focuses on enhancing your natural features. We add the missing hairs to create balance, shape, and harmony that perfectly suits your face.

The treatment is performed very superficially in the skin, which is why the result is semi-permanent rather than fully permanent. Most clients return for a touch-up once every two years, depending on their skin type and lifestyle.

If you have oily skin, or if you prefer a more defined and shaded look, the combo brows method (microblading + soft shading) is often a better choice. It offers more depth, longer-lasting results, and a beautifully enhanced brow while still looking natural.

Microblading is perfect for you if you want:

  • Natural, fuller-looking brows

  • A low-maintenance beauty routine

  • Long-lasting results without makeup

  • More symmetry and definition

  • A soft, realistic brow enhancement

COMBO BROWS

There is no “one method fits all” when it comes to brows — the best technique always depends on your skin type and the result you want to achieve. However, Combo Brows is one of our personal favourites because it offers incredible versatility and beautifully customizable results.

As the name suggests, Combo Brows is a combination of microbladed hair strokes and soft machine shading. This blend creates a fuller, more defined brow while still maintaining a natural, realistic appearance.

Because shading is added with a machine, this method typically has longer-lasting results compared to microblading alone. The soft pigment is implanted superficially into the skin, creating a subtle shaded effect that enhances shape, depth, and overall symmetry.

One of the biggest advantages of Combo Brows is the flexibility in placement. The shading can be added in different areas to tailor the look exactly to your needs. For example:

  • Microbladed hair strokes across the entire brow with shading in the tail for more definition

  • Soft shading in the middle of the brow to add depth where natural hairs are sparse

  • A balanced blend of strokes and shading for a fuller yet natural brow

Combo Brows is ideal if you want a result that is natural but slightly more defined, with improved longevity and customizable depth — perfect for all brow types and especially suitable for clients with oily skin or sparse areas.

WHEN TO AVOID MICROBLADING

If you are pregnant
There is not enough research proving whether microblading can affect

pregnancy. Hormonal changes may also alter the final result.

If you are under 18
We do not perform microblading on clients under the age of 18.

If you have a weakened immune system
A lowered immune system increases the risk of infection.

If you have eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, or any other skin condition on or around the brows
Microblading is not recommended if you experience any skin conditions causing irritation, redness, or lesions in the brow area.

If you are prone to keloid scarring
Because microblading involves making small incisions in the skin, there is a risk of scar formation.

If you are taking Isotretinoin (Accutane)
Certain medications are not compatible with microblading. If you are currently taking, or have recently taken, Isotretinoin, we recommend waiting 4–6 months after completing your treatment for the best results.

If you have sunburned skin or breakouts around the brows
The skin must not be sunburned, irritated, or have active breakouts on or around the brow area at the time of the treatment.

If you have high blood pressure
Untreated high blood pressure may cause excessive bleeding during the procedure. If your blood pressure is controlled with medication, the treatment is generally safe.

If you have blood disorders
We do not perform microblading on clients with blood-related conditions.

If you are taking blood-thinning medications
These increase the risk of bleeding, which can negatively affect pigment retention and the healed result.

If you have very oily skin (microblading only)
Microblading is not ideal for very oily skin, as results may appear blurry and fade more quickly. Combo Brows is recommended instead.

If you have very sensitive skin or visible capillaries
This often leads to increased bleeding during the procedure, which may affect the healed result.

For other medical conditions such as diabetes, cancer treatments, or ongoing illnesses please consult with your doctor before booking your microblading appointment.

FAQ

What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent brow treatment where fine, hair-like strokes are created manually using a precise handheld tool. The result is natural, fuller, and more symmetrical brows that blend seamlessly with your own hair.

How long does microblading last?
Results typically last 24-36 months, depending on your skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Oily skin may require more frequent touch-ups.

Does microblading hurt?
Most clients describe the sensation as mild scratching. A numbing cream is applied to keep the treatment as comfortable as possible.

What is the difference between Microblading and Combo Brows?
Microblading uses only hair-like strokes for a natural result.
Combo Brows combines microblading + soft machine shading, providing more definition and longer-lasting results — especially recommended for oily or textured skin.

Am I a good candidate for microblading?

You are a good candidate if you:
– Want natural, fuller brows
– Have normal to dry skin
– Want long-lasting results without makeup

If you have oily, sensitive, or textured skin, Combo Brows usually gives better healed results.

How long does a treatment take?
A full microblading session typically takes 1.5–2 hours, including consultation, mapping, numbing, and the treatment itself.

What does the healing process look like?
Your brows will appear darker the first few days and then gradually lighten as they heal. The first 7 days you need to avoid direct sun light, sweating and putting make up + creams on your brows. Mild flaking is normal. Full healing takes 4–6 weeks.

When do I need a top up?
A perfecting touch-up is usually done at 6–8 weeks. After that, maintenance touch-ups are recommended every 12–36 months.

Can I get microblading if I have a previous brow tattoo?
Yes, but only if your old tattoo is light enough. If the old pigment is too dark or saturated, laser removal may be needed before creating a new shape.

Can I workout after microblading is done?

Avoid sweating, steam, sauna, and intense workouts for 7–10 days, as moisture can push the pigment out of the skin.

Will microblading damage my natural brow hair?
No — microblading is done superficially in the skin and does not affect your natural brow growth.
